More Thunder Bay businesses closed than opened in past year, prompting call for national inflation plan

As inflation continues to hit Canadians, some Thunder Bay, Ont., business owners are struggling to keep up with the rising cost of goods and shipping prices. Since inflation is a widespread issue, there needs to be a national approach to solve the problem, says an economist at Lakehead University.
