After daughter’s suicide, this mom wants caregivers notified when loved ones get psychotropic meds

A Kitchener, Ont., mom whose daughter died by suicide is petitioning for a formal policy that would alert caregivers or family members when their loved ones are prescribed psychotropic drugs, ones capable of affecting the mind, behaviour and emotions.
