Halifax-area wildfire has left ‘visible scars on the community,’ official says

Three Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency firefighters work to put out fires in the Tantallon, N.S.,

Officials say crews made good progress through the night, but an expected change in the weather later Tuesday could create potentially dangerous firefighting conditions. More than 200 homes and other structures have been damaged or destroyed.
