Quebec wants opioid distributors and manufacturers to pay for health-care costs. A new law could help

A bill introduced at the National Assembly on Thursday proposes changes to the province’s laws that would allow it to participate in a British-Columbia-led class action against opioid manufacturers and wholesalers.
